Joyce Marie (Craft) Payn, 59 year old lifelong Seminole, Oklahoma resident passed from this life Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born November 5, 1957 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to parents Roy Thomas Craft and Wanda Lou (Nunnelley) Craft. Joyce graduated from Seminole High School in 1975 and went on to attend Seminole State College and Rose State College. She worked as an X-ray Technician for the past 25 years, the last few here at Seminole Hospital. Joyce loved her family and also enjoyed reading and baking. She was well known for her cookies and considered herself a “Chocaholic”. Survivors include one son, Ryan Payn of Fairview, Oklahoma; one brother, Bobby Craft and his wife Lacretia of Shawnee, Oklahoma; two nephews, Brian Smith and Brad Vakilazadeh; three nieces, Renee Epperson, Ashley Henderson and her husband Ben and Kim Robertson and her husband Randy; two grandchildren, Austin Payn and Angelina Payn of Fairview, Oklahoma; and a host of other family and dear friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Thomas Craft and Wanda Lou Craft; by two brothers, Johnny Craft and Phillip Craft; by two sisters, Shirley Gardener and Judy Branch. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 19, 2017 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating the service. Interment will follow at Allen Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
