Joyce Burkhart

Longtime Seminole resident Irma "Joyce" Burkhart passed away on May 6, 2007 in Tupelo, Mississippi at the age of 79. She was born on November 15, 1927 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Walter C. and Ardie B. (Connor) Chambers. rnrnJoyce married Ted Burkhart on March 7, 1958 in Gainesville, Texas, he preceded her in death on April 14, 2005. She was a beautician and owned the Fashionette Beauty Salon for over 20 years. Mrs. Burkhart was also a health care provider for more than 5 years. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Seminole.rnrnPreceding her in death are her parents, husband and one son Mike Moss.rnrnShe is survived by her son & daughter in Law, Kris and Terri Burkhart of Seminole, Oklahoma, one step-son and daughter in law, Donald and Kathy Burkhart of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, three daughters and son in law's Kathy and Steve Courtney of Yukon, Oklahoma, Cheryl Chahcoi of Olathe, Kansas, Tammy and Ricky Jenkins of Tupelo, Mississippi, one step-daughter and son in law, Donna and Dwight Weber of Yukon, Oklahoma. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.rnrnCasket Bearers will be Dwight Weber, Don Burkhart, Kyle Renton, Doug Todd, Nathaniel "Buck" Vaughn and Moe Chahcoi.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 10:00am, Wednesday, May 9, 2007rnat the Swearingen Funeral Chapel with Rev.
