Josephine Gilkey Mills

Longtime Seminole resident Josephine J. Gilkey Mills passed away on September 3, 2007 at Seminole Estates Nursing Home at the age 81. rnrnShe was born on May 27, 1926 in Spring Valley, Arkansas to Jesse and Elsie Mary (Hayes) King. rnrnShe married Glenn Gilkey and he preceded her in death in February of 1962.rnrnShe retired from Wrangler over thirty years ago where she had worked for many years.rnrnShe loved to play cards and dominoes with family and friends. She was also a loyal patron of the Heritage House in Seminole and delivered meals to shut-ins for several years.rnrnShe is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Dick Gilkey and wife Jo Ann of Edmond, Oklahoma, daughter, Kathey Hill of Seminole, Oklahoma, granddaughter, Terri Stastny and husband JD of Prague, Oklahoma, grandson, Jason Gilkey and wife Debbie of Nashville, Tennessee, two great grandsons; Nathan Michael Stastny, Connor Sullivan Gilkey and one great granddaughter, Treasure Ruth Gilkey. Numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends, also survive her.rnrnHer parents, husband, one brother and three sisters precede her in death.rnrnGraveside services will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Little Cemetery with Rev.
