November 14, 1930 — November 3, 2008

Josephine Faye Jones, 77, of Seminole, OK passed away on November 4, 2008 in Oklahoma City, OK where she was surrounded by her loving family. Private family services are to be held.rnrnJosephine was born on November 15, 1930 in Blanchard, OK to Jesse Newton and Mary Alice (Carr) Cooley. She married Thomas Warren Jones and was blessed with six children before he passed away in 1971. She worked at Sonic for many years. Jo was an avid collector. She collected knick-knacks, pencil sharpeners, magnets, and Wacky Pack toys, among other things. She and her sisters would take a vacation every year together. They would usually load up in a vehicle and drive. Sometimes, a destination would be known ahead of time and sometimes, they went where the car took them. No matter where they ended up, Jo would always buy a magnet when she traveled through a different state. She had a magnetized drawing of the United States and would come home with the state magnets and ?showcase? all the states she had visited. The past few years, the sisters have been unable to make their trips and Jo hadn?t got the chance to visit all 50 states. She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and word find puzzles, but most of all, she enjoyed life and loved her family. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.rnrnShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas; one son, Roger Jones; one brother, Billy Cooley; and one sister, Elsie Hayes.rnrnShe is survived by two daughters, Lynna Jernigan and her husband, Leland ?Doug? of Edmond, OK and Shelia Jones of Seminole, OK; three sons, Arnold Jones and his wife, Carolyn of Seminole, OK, Tony Jones of Seminole, OK and Johnny Jones of Guthrie, OK; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and two sisters, Dovie Cheatwood of Maud, OK and Valeria Ivie of Arlington, TX.rn Funeral Information: November 5, 2008, 12:00 AM
