Joseph “Joe” Pulliam, 94 Joseph “Joe” Pulliam, lifelong Seminole county resident passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 94. Joe was born July 5, 1922 in Haywood, Oklahoma to parents, Willis Marion Pulliam and Melissa (McCarr) Pulliam. Joe served in the United States Army during WWII and was employed at Tinker Air Force Base as a carpenter. Joe married Beatrice (Tiger) Pulliam who preceded him in death in 1970. Joe is survived by daughter, Leafa Tiger of Holdenville, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Georgetta Williamson and her husband Keith of Seminole, Oklahoma. Joe was preceded in death by his parents Willis and Melissa Pulliam, his wife Beatrice Pulliam and several brother and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Cheyara Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bill Carr officiating. Burial will take place at Tiger Family Cemetery. Serving as honorary casket bearers are: Dana Scott, John Scott, Rodney May, Gary Loving, Jeremy Williamson and Wesley Quinalty. Wake services will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday, May 17, 2017.
