Joseph Earl “Joe” Hale, 95, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma resident, died at his home on March 21, 2014. Joe was a former longtime Seminole resident, who was born August 13, 1918, in Wewoka, Oklahoma, to Lilly (Carrigan) and Alma Earl Hale. Joe had lived in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area for the last 20 years. He retired from Tenneco Oil Company in 1984 as an oilfield foreman. Joe married J. Hazel Hale on April 21, 1938, in Seminole, and she preceded him in death on February 7, 1991. Joe is survived by his son, Fred Hale of Norman, Oklahoma, his brother, Vernon Hale of Los Animas, Colorado, three sisters, Marie Rowe of Clinton, Arkansas, Orlean Harris, of Texas and Peggy Hale, of Virginia and four grandchildren, Teresa Hale, Angie Kinnard, Rodney Hale, Regina Hale and six Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Little Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Burial will follow at the Little Cemetery, north of Seminole, Oklahoma. Casket bearers will be Rodney Hale, Jay Kinnard, Kenny Plumlee and Fred Hale.
