Former Longtime Seminole resident Jonnie E. McCaslin passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Metroplex Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grand Prairie, Texas at the age of 92. rnrnShe was born on December 6, 1915 in Vestee, Arkansas to Celia Ann (Hardin) and John Wesley Mainord. rnrnShe graduated from Bowlegs High School in 1933 and was a homemaker. rnrnShe married Virgil James McCaslin on February 3, 1936 in Seminole, Oklahoma; he preceded her in death on May 8, 1994.rnrnShe is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: James and Violet McCaslin of Allen, Texas and Bill and Brenda McCaslin of Grand Prairie, Texas, one brother, Glover Mainord of Shawnee, Oklahoma and two sisters; Wanda McPherren of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Thelma Legard of Shawnee, Oklahoma. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Tamra Bryan, Amy Hooper, Leah McFarlin, Lisa Drew and Lana Sellers and eight great grandchildren: Shae Bryan, Jared and Jordan McFarlin, Abby Grace and Lily Cooper, Gentry and Zachary Drew and Buffie Sellers.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 10:00am, Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Leland Hall officiating.
