Johnny Ray Wood, 52 Johnny Ray Wood, lifelong Seminole resident, passed from this life surrounded by family and friends in Oklahoma City at Saint Anthony Hospital, Sunday, April 26, 2015, at the age of 52. Johnny was born, December 21, 1962 in Clovis, New Mexico to parents, George and Barbara Washington. He graduated from Bowlegs High School in 1980 and was a member of the Community of Christ Church. Johnny is survived by his mother, Barbara (Wood) Washington, step-father, George Washington both of Seminole, Oklahoma; two sons, Dustin Wood and Collin Wood both of Wewoka, Oklahoma; four daughters, Renee (Wood) Harris and her husband, Corey of Altus, Oklahoma, LeighAnne Smith and her husband, Brandon of Seminole, Oklahoma, Lakota Wood, and Cherraine Hobia both of Wewoka, Oklahoma; eight brothers, Curtis Wood of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Rodney Washington of Seminole, Oklahoma, Chris Lonechief of Shamrock, Texas, Michael Washington, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Lewis Washington and his wife Gwen of Seminole, Oklahoma, Shaun Washington and his wife Caitlin of Seminole, Oklahoma, Jacob Washington of Seminole, Oklahoma and Tim Wood of Seminole, Oklahoma; two best sisters ever, Georgia Washington and husband Jayson Burr of Seminole, Oklahoma and Ella Washington and her husband, Stephan Born of Seminole, Oklahoma. Johnny is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Mya Harris, Montoya Harris, Maryiah Harris, Taevyn Scott, Korbin Scott, Blakely Smith, Mvhayv Dinwiddie, Keland Crawford, Natalia Hobia, Lucas Hobia, Channing Hobia. He is also survived by, nieces and nephews; Craig and Taylor Wood, Raven Williams, Amber, Mariah, Autumn, Brent and Hunter Washington, Christopher, Kayla, Rebecca, Megan, Chuck, Shane, Dakota, Leah, Maycie, Kaylie, Sadie, Lennon and Cordelia Washington, Jacie, Jaxie, Chelsea, Tyler, Beau, Vernon, Sierra, May, Skyler and Jacob and special friends, Jim and Ronda Collier of Seminole, Oklahoma and a host of family and dear friends. Johnny was preceded in death by one son, Brandon Wood; grandson, Kash Wood; grandmother, Amanda Wood and grandfather, John Wood. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m.,Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.  Officiating will be Jim Collier, Brandon G. Smith, Gympsy Harjo, Kevin Fox and Eric Thlocco. Burial will take place at Vamoosa Cemetery. Wake services will take place 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.,Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Serving as casket  bearers are: Brandon Smith, Corey Harris, Leroy Simon, David Kiker, Stephan Born, Jack Satawake, Todd Staley, and Luke Williams.
