Johnnie Mae (White) Foxx, 64 year-old lifelong Seminole resident went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, May 16, 2009 while under the care of Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was born January 4, 1945 in Seminole where she was raised and later graduated in 1963 from Seminole High School.rnrnJohnnie Mae married Robert Lee Foxx on November 6, 1961 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She worked for Wrangler in Seminole until her retirement in December 2001 after 33 years of dedicated service. She was Wrangler?s quality assurance manager for Oklahoma, Texas and Missouri.rnrnAs an active member of the Seminole First Baptist Church, Johnnie Mae served the Lord in many different ministries. She was the Director-Secretary for Sunday School Class D, and served on the Church?s finance committee; she was also involved in the choir where she would often bless the congregation with her solos. Johnnie Mae was always ready to serve her community where ever and whenever needed. She was a board member for the Jasmine Moran Children?s Museum, and a former Campfire director.rnrnShe leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 48 years, Robert Foxx of the home; her mother, Willie Mae Saunders of Seminole, Oklahoma; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Kevin Woodfork of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and Deborah and Ed Stewart of Dallas, Texas; mother-in-law, Mattye Foxx of Pittsburg, Kansas; three grandchildren, Jaqueline Alysse Woodfork, Kevin Maurice and his wife Doneisha Woodfork and George Edward Stewart II; she is also survived by a host of other dear family and friends.rnrnJohnnie Mae is preceded in death by her father, Willie Saunders; one aunt, Mable Stillwell; mother-in-law, Doretha Winrow and by her father-in-law, Andrew Foxx.rnrnFuneral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 21, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Seminole. Entombment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Dr. Tommy Clark, Russell Vicars and Rev.
