John A. Smith, 81, longtime Bowlegs, Oklahoma resident, passed away March 23, 2019 in Seminole, Oklahoma. John was born December 16, 1937 in Paden, Oklahoma to parents, Arley Newton Smith and Norma Evelyn (Coleman) Smith. John was self-employed and owned his own construction company. John is survived by his son Rick Smith of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, his brother; Jerry Smith of Seminole, Oklahoma, grandsons; Ricky Smith, Jr. and Justin Smith and his best friend; Patsy Ring Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son; Randy Smith and sisters; Charlotte and Martha. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 29, 2019 at Little Cemetery, north of Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev. Roy Robertson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Parkinson Foundation of Oklahoma, 720 W. Wilshire Blvd. #109, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73116 in memory of John A. Smith.
