McLoud resident, John Ezra Fields, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, in Oklahoma City.
John, the son of Clarence and Leah (Tiger) Fields, was born March 19, 1969, in Wewoka. John enjoyed listening to the radio and going to casinos, and camping and fishing; he loved WWE, and would set his alarm for it to be sure he didn’t miss it, but nothing was as important to John as time spent with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Izaiah A. Watson; and by his brother, Alan Fields; and sisters, Sherry Fields and Esther Jean Fields.
John is survived by his daughter, Alexis Fields; three grandchildren, Acacia G.M. Washington, Khaleesi B.R. Watson, and Francis Ezra Fields; sisters, Clarinda Fields, and Louvenia Fields; and many other family members and friends.
Pall bearers will be Richard Page, Herschel Wise, Chris Caballero, Azeriah Fields, Jimmy Boley, Micah Bole.
A wake service is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. at Middle Creek #2.
Services will be Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Middle Creek #2, with Billy Merritt officiating. Burial will follow at John Tiger Family Cemetery in Wewoka. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
