Joe Riley Roulston, Jr., age 58 and a resident of Asher, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at his home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 17th at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. Rev. Ed George will officiate, and pallbearers are Rob Doolen, John White, John Merrell, Byron Cole, Reuben Brewer, Hiram Roulston, and Thad Roulston. Honorary pallbearers are Eddie Roebuck, Larry Hensley, Tony Airington, and Johnny Airington. Joe was born on December 17, 1954 in Konawa to Joe R. Roulston, Sr. and Helen (Gaines) Roulston. He graduated from Sasakwa High School and worked as a diesel mechanic for Coal County Maintenance. Joe loved to fish and to watch cable TV. He is survived by three daughters, Kim McDonald of Sasakwa, Jodi Lee of Sasakwa, and Heather Coslow of Coalgate, Oklahoma; three step-sons, Danny English and Johnny English, both of Coalgate, and John Merrell, Jr. of Sasakwa; three brothers, Ed Hailey and Herbert Hailey, both of Oklahoma City, and Jay Roulston of Moore, Oklahoma; one sister, Loretta Cole of Asher, and fourteen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Helen Roulston and one brother, Charles Hailey.
