Joe Junior Brazell

Joe Junior Brazell , age 73 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at Capitol Hill Skilled Nursing and Therapy in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 10th at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Konawa.  Ronnie Lunsford will officiate, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.  Casket bearers are Monte Brazell, Ralph Brazell, Kevin Brazell, and Richard Brazell.

Joe was born December 18, 1946 in Konawa to Billy Joe Brazell and Helen “Marie” (Williams) Brazell.  He worked as a tool crib attendant for Tinker Air Force Base.  He loved working on cars, fishing, doing yardwork, and he loved his dachshund puppy, Ellie Mae.

He is survived by two brothers, Monte Brazell of Konawa, and Ralph Brazell of Moore, Oklahoma; two sisters, Glenda Lunsford of Konawa, and Janice Mooneyham of Purcell; one aunt, Vasey Kramer; and many cousins, and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Marie Brazell; wife, Marilyn Brazell; two brothers, Wayne and Cliff Brazell; and two nephews, Billy John and Michael Brazell.
