Joe Edward Beach, 66 year old Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life Monday, February 25, 2019 at Seminole Care and Rehabilitation Center in Seminole. He was born January 26, 1953 in Shreveport, Louisiana to parents William Clay Beach II and Bobbie Marie (Wallace) Beach. Joe served in the United States Army earning the rank of SP-4. He served in Germany earning the National Defense Service Medal. Joe married Pearl Wright on June 9, 1984 in Lampasas, Texas. Joe was a heavy equipment mechanic in Ft. Chaffee, Arkansas and Ft. Hood, Texas. He was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Seminole. Joe enjoyed reading his Bible, playing guitar, working on vehicles and studying history. Survivors include his wife, Pearl (Wright) Beach of the home; two sons, Michael McCray of Shawnee, Oklahoma, William Clay Beach III of Texas; two daughters, Sandy Pratt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Angela Beach of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers, Steve Beach of Gore, Oklahoma, Bill Beach of Cromwell, Oklahoma; one sister, Debbi Walsh of Kansas City, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and dear friends. Joe was preceded in death by his father, William Clay Beach II and by his mother, Bobbie Marie Lasiter. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 1, 2019 with Military Honors at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Tate Mountain Cemetery in Sasakwa, Oklahoma. Pastor Charlie Jamison will officiate the service.
