Joseph John ?Joe? Albus, 71 year-old, longtime Mesquite, Texas resident passed from this life Friday, October 19, 2007 at his daughters home in Brownsboro, Texas. He was born January 25, 1936 in Mexico, Missouri to parents John Edward Albus and Thelma Elizabeth (Heinley) Albus. Joe graduated from Mexico, Missouri High School and went on to be a long-distance Truck Driver for Sittion Motor Line based in Missouri. He lived in Oklahoma for a time before making Mesquite, Texas his home moving there in 1985. Joe was also a member of the Truck Drivers Teamster Union.rnrnJoe married ?Patricia? Jean (Ruminer) Albus she survives him of the home.rnrnOther survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: William ?Bill? Albus and his wife Stephanie of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Joe Edward Albus, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Murphysboro, Tennessee; and Earnest Harper and his wife Rhonda of Mannford, Oklahoma.rnrnFour daughters and sons-in-law: ?Phyllis? Kay Dodson and her husband P.A. of Brownsboro, Texas; Marie Frances of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Betty Hammons and her husband J.W. of Mannford, Oklahoma; and JoVanna Hill of Houston, Texas.rnrnOne sister, Margaret Porter of Tulsa, Oklahoma.rnrnNineteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.rnrnHe is also survived by a host of other family and dear friends.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole.
