Joann Beverly Tiger

Joann Beverly Tiger, 68, longtime Seminole resident died, Sunday, July 4, 2010 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Joann was born May 17, 1942 at Wichita Falls, Texas to Sterling M. and Mattie Emma (Cavin) Price. Joann moved to Seminole 34 years ago from Holliday, Texas and was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Seminole she was retired from Hayes Axle after 23 years of being a Quality Control Inspector. Joann married Donald Edward Tiger on July 7, 1962 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Joann is survived by her husband of 48 years Donald Edward Tiger of Seminole, Oklahoma. Three daughters Quinna Jo Morris of McKinney, Texas, Beckie Powell of Seminole, Oklahoma and Rachel Leigh Dinwiddie of Seminole, Oklahoma and one son Donald E. Tiger II of Seminole, Oklahoma. Sister, Sherri Dubbs of Pennsylvania and a brother Bobby Lee Price of Graham, Texas, also survives Joann. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Timothy Powell, Sara Powell, Korrie Powell, Joshua Dinwiddie and Jessica Dinwiddie and seven great grandchildren, Treyton Powell, Kanen Powell, Braydon Powell, Phoenix Powell, Paris Powell, Rylee Powell, Timothy Joe Powell. Her parents and a sister Juanita Price preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David McDougal officiating. Burial will follow at the Tiger Family Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Calvin Dinwiddie, Jamie Powell, Joshua Dinwiddie, Timothy Powell, Sky Sweetman and Shelby Barber.
