Joan Artcliff

June 7, 1950 — November 5, 2012

On Monday November 5, 2012, Joan (Steiner) Artcliff ascended this earth unto the Heavens to be with our Heavenly Father.  Joan was born on June 7, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan to Mary Emma (Dunlap) Steiner and James F. Steiner.  She grew up in the Saginaw, Bridgeport area and Graduated from Bridgeport High School. Joan married Warren E. “Butch” Artcliff, Sr. on January 17, 1970.  He and one son Warren E. Artcliff, Jr. survive her of the home.  Also surviving her are one daughter and son-in-law, Cindylou and William Allison, four granddaughters, Felicia Corbett, Jody, Candy and Ashley Allison along with two great granddaughters, Justice Paige and Trinity Faith all of Seminole, Oklahoma.  Two sisters and a brother-in-law, Shirley Lockhart of Birchrun, Michigan, (Joan’s twin sister) Joann and Tom Herzberg of Hale Michigan also many nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends survive her. Her parents, one sister Pat Midcalf, one daughter Theresa Ann Artcliff and a nephew Mickey Sigman, precede Mrs. Artcliff in death. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2012 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma.  Rev. Carl Whitfield will officiate the service.  Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, located 2 miles east of Seminole, Oklahoma on Hwy 270. Casket Bearers will be: Michael Gordon, Robert Henderson, Zach Wilson, Terry Bowen, Waylon Myers and William Allison.
