Jo Ann (Mathes) Pokrzywinski

Jo Ann (Mathes) Pokrzywinski, age 62 and a long-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away from this life at her home on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. No memorial service is planned at this time, and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Jo was born May 23, 1957 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Joe Mathes and Patricia Inez (Gilpatrick) Mathes.  She graduated from Commanche High School in Commanche, Oklahoma, and she has lived for the past several years in Konawa under the care of Golden Years Assisted Living of Konawa.                       She is survived by her father, Joe Mathes of Commanche, Oklahoma; one daughter, Chrystal Dawn Travis; and one brother, David Mathes of Tucson, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Mathes, and one son, Joe David Travis. Funeral Information: February 26, 2020, 2:17 PM No memorial service is planned at this time.
