Jimmy Dale Whitlock, age 49 and a resident of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away under Loving Care Hospice at his brother’s home in Seminole surrounded by his family and friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Seminole. Rev. Jerry Orsburn and Rev. Charles Taylor will officiate and burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Casket bearers are Greg Whitlock, Michael Whitlock, Jerry Tucker, Frankie Tucker, Jared Whitlock, and Tyler Whitlock. Honorary bearers are David Tiner, Ronnie Tucker, Cory Whitlock, Stanley Whitlock, Dennis Whitlock, Danny Whitlock, Austin Tucker, and Gavin Lucas. The family will greet guest at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 on Friday, August 10th. Jimmy was born October 5, 1968 in Modesto, California to Clorvil Dean Whitlock and Donna (Cross) Whitlock Robinson. He graduated from high school in Bismark, Arkansas. He married Mary Ann Tiner June 25, 2016 in Seminole, and he worked as an auto technician for Seminole Wal-mart. Jimmy was a member of the Seminole Northwood Church of the Nazarene and a member of the Shawnee Chapter of the American Red Cross. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Whitlock of the home; his mother, Donna Robinson of Holdenville, Oklahoma; one son, Gregory Dale Whitlock of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two daughters, Jamie Redfearn of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Missy Jones of Seminole; three brothers, Stanley Whitlock and wife, Paula of Seminole, Dennis Whitlock and wife, Nina of Bismark, Arkansas, and Danny Whitlock of Holdenville; two sisters, April Tucker and husband, Ronnie of Holdenville, and Crystal Orsburn and husband, Jerry of Ada, Oklahoma; eight grandchilden, Avory, Tiffany, Danille, Ashley, Jessica, Breanna, Brooklyn, and M’Kenzie; and five great grandchildren, Olivia, Oliver, Averi, Oakleigh, and Ember. He was preceded in death by his father, Clorvil Whitlock; three uncles, Jimmy Dale, Michael Lee, and Gregory Wayne Whitlock; and his grandparents, J.C. and Noreen Whitlock and Virgil and Gladin Cross.
