Jimmy Allen Richardson, 70, longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident died, Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Jimmy was born February 1, 1948 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Clura Gerald Richardson and Juanita (Griffin) Richardson. Jimmy attended Seminole Public Schools and graduated from Seminole High School in 1966 , received an Associate of Science degree from Seminole Junior College in 1972 and a Bachelor of Art Degree From East Central University in 1975. Jimmy served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was retired as a Pardon and Parole Board Officer. He loved playing cards, dominoes and was the owner and operator of the Twin Oaks Game Club. Jimmy is survived by his sons; John Richardson of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Robert Richardson of Seminole, Oklahoma, three daughters; Kim Yerby and her husband Thomas Yerby of Seminole, Oklahoma, Sereda Griggs of Marietta, Oklahoma and Kitty Welliver and her husband Tracy Welliver of Choctaw, Oklahoma; a sister JoAnn Richardson of Midwest City, Oklahoma, eleven grandchildren; Alyssa, Rylan and Wylee Yerby, Carlie Richardson, Gabrielle Richardson, Daryck and Josh Smart, Tye Varner, Jacki Geiger, Zachery Darr, Cameron Allen and eight great grandchildren and his caregiver and special friend, Kendra Campbell and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Ruth Richardson who died October 27, 2005. Funeral services with Military Honors are planned for 10:30 A.M., Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick Madron officiating. Burial will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, Oklahoma. Casket bearers will by Dalton Presley, Kaisen Presley, Phillip Perkins, Josh Smart, Daryck Smart and Rodney Starr. Honorary bearers will be Tye Varner and A.W. Hunter. Funeral services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
