Jimmy N. Armstrong, Sr., 73 year old Tecumseh, Oklahoma resident, passed away April 24, 2020 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was born August 29, 1946 in Shawnee to parents Loyd Noel Armstrong and Luvina M. (Stark) Armstrong. He grew up in Tecumseh and graduated from Tecumseh High School. He was in the United States Army, served three tours in Vietnam and attained the rank of Sergeant First Class. Jimmy had worked as a truck driver and was a process controller at Central Plastics in Shawnee. He enjoyed going to casinos, drinking coffee and watching Judge Judy. He was very loved by all his family. Jimmy is survived by his son; Jimmy Armstrong, Jr. of Lawton, Oklahoma, his daughter; Melinda Billie of Tulsa, Oklahoma, his brother; John Armstrong and his wife Ellen of Summerville, South Carolina, his sisters; Kathy Beauchamp and Amy Scott and her husband Robert of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Matthew, Matthew, John and Kristina and great grandchildren; Damien, Navaeh, Ania, Aryana, Taryana, Malachi, Isabella and Jazlynn. He was preceded in death by his parents Loyd and Luvina Armstrong and his son Timmy Armstrong. No services are planned.
