Seminole resident Jimmie C. Brooks passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at the age of 68. rnrnHe was born on February 11, 1938 in Yuma, Arizona to Eugene and Lucille (Sims) Brooks. rnrnHe has lived in Oklahoma since 1969, moving here from Arizona. rnrnBrooks worked as an auto mechanic and owned his own salvage south of Maud. He was a member of the Baptist Church.rnrnHe is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister .rnrnHe is survived by four sons; Jackie Brooks of Seminole, Oklahoma, Darryl Brooks of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Stephen Brooks of Maud, Oklahoma and Richard Brooks of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, two daughters; Patty Green of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Sandra Brooks of Maud, Oklahoma, five brothers; Gene Brooks of California, Charles Brooks of Oregon, Sammy Brooks of Arizona, Tommy Brooks of Idaho and Danny Brooks of Idaho, one sister Alice Russell of Konawa, Oklahoma. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. rnrnGraveside services are scheduled for 12:00pm, Saturday, September 30, 2006 at Vamoosa Cemetery in Konawa, Oklahoma.
