Jimmy ?Jim? Wade, 63 year-old Maud, Oklahoma resident passed from this life August 6, 2008 in Eufaula, Oklahoma. He was born November 24, 1944 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to parents Edith Etta (Goss) Wade and Clarence Jimmy Wade, Sr.rnrnJim graduated from Midwest City High School in 1963 then continued his education at Oklahoma University for the next four years. He then served in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged on August 31, 1969.rnrnJim married Peggy Sue Strickland on February 13, 1977 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Together they moved to Maud, Oklahoma where they are partners in a concrete finishing business. Jim taught auto mechanics at Maud High School for several years. Jim and Peggy then started their own business, Wade Dump Truck Service that they currently owned and operated.rnrnJim leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 31 years Peggy Wade of the home in Maud, Oklahoma; two sons, Sean Goodman of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Daniel Wade of Maud, Oklahoma; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry & Meredith Wade of Bethany, Oklahoma and Joe & Becky Wade of Eufaula, Oklahoma; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy & Ron Allen of Saint Louis, Oklahoma, Shirley & Tom Reddin of Newcastle, Oklahoma and Gwen & Danny Danielson of Edmond, Oklahoma; brother and sisters-in-law, Keith & Deena Strickland, Bill Presley and Sandra Ledbetter all of Maud, Oklahoma. Jim is also survived by a host of other family and dear friends.rnrnJim is preceded in death by his parents; his mother & father-in-law, Leroy & Iris Strickland; one brother-in-law, Johnny Ledbetter; one sister-in-law, Jeanene Presley and by two nephews, Jason Allen and Dean Wade.rnrnFuneral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. ? Saturday ? August 9, 2008 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Maud, Oklahoma with Larry Hawkins officiating the service.
