James Cade "Jim" Martin, 71 year old McCurtain, Oklahoma resident in Haskell County, passed from this life July 22, 2006 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was born, September 21, 1934 in Bowser, Texas to parents, Julian Martin and California "Tot" (Install) Martin.rnrnThe former longtime Seminole resident moved to Poteau, Oklahoma in 1996 then to McCurtain, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Oak Hills Baptist Church in Louisiana. Martin had also served in the United States Army earning the rank of Corp. serving from 1954 until 1957.rnrnMr. Martin married Sue (Yeager) Martin on October 14, 1994 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She survives him of the home.rnrnOther survivors include, one son and daughter-in-law, Jim Bob & Lani Martin of Holdenville, Oklahoma.rnrnOne daughter and son-in-law, Jamie Lynn & Charles Webster of Odessa, Texas.rnrnOne step-son, Eric Nicholson of Jenks, Oklahoma.
