Pastor Wesley Martin will officiate. Burial will follow at Konawa Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kevin Grant, John W. Story, II, Brad Story, Willie Grant, Travis Harjo, and Tyler Harjo. Honorary Pallbearers are Bill Cloud, James Tollie Grant, R.L. Grant, and Richard Grant. Guest singer is Dorthy House.rnrnJessie was born on March 2, 1918, in Braggs, Oklahoma, to Elias E. ?Polly? Sumpter and Susie (Sumter) Sumpter. She married Tollie Grant on April 18, 1938, in Phoenix, Arizona. She was the Director of Activities for Tucker Nursing Home, and she was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Sasakwa, Oklahoma.rnrnShe is survived by two daughters, Barbara Jones and husband, Ozell of Sasakwa, Oklahoma, and Martha Tyler and husband, Ronnie of Konawa, Oklahoma; two brothers, Vernon Sumpter and wife, Ann of Phoenix, Arizona, and Dib Sumpter and wife, Roberta of Phoenix Arizona; one sister, Pauline Choate and husband, Dan of Hemphill, Arizona; one sister-in-law, Tommie Lou Sumpter of Phoenix, Arizona; 7 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.rnrnShe was preceded in death by her parents, Elias and Susie Sumpter; her husband, Tollie Grant; two sons, Tollie Newton Grant, Jr., and James Grant; two brothers, Walter and Richard Sumpter; and one sister, Etta Ruth Sumpter.rnrn Funeral Information: December 15, 2008, 2:00 AM
