Jerry Lee Burns, 72 Jerry Lee Burns, life long Seminole, Oklahoma resident passed away November 30, 2016 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 72. Jerry was born February 10, 1944 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to parents, William K. Walker and Pebble Fern Walker. Jerry served in the Army National Guard and the United States Air Force where he earned the rank of Airman Basic. Jerry loved animals, fishing and making people laugh. He loved helping people and he never met a stranger. Jerry is survived by two sons, Eli Burns and his wife Brittany Burns of Borger, Texas, Scott Burns; five daughters, Savanna Burns and her spouse Joe Hays of Seminole, Oklahoma, Kristen Armstrong of Borger, Texas, Angel Williams of Norman, Oklahoma, Jessica Burns of Borger, Texas and Amy Garcia of Dumas, Texas; one brother, Rev. Bill Burns and his wife Jewell of Bowlegs, Oklahoma; one sister, Joyce Brooks of Wewoka, Oklahoma; many grandchildren; many more great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Lou Burns on November 8, 2015; his parents, William and Pebble Burns; his grandparents; one grandson, Seth Ayden Burns; one brother Don Henry, Sr.; one sister Gloria Fern Murry and two nephews. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Lord's Community Church at 501 North 5th street, in Seminole with Jimmy and Nita Moreland officiating. Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma.
