Jeremy “Tommy” Lee Tebe, age 53, passed away September 17, 2020 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Jeremy was born November 7, 1966 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to parents Rebecca (Tebe) Graham and James Smith. He was a graduate of Konawa High School. Jeremy was a member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma, the Eufaula Band of the Deer Clan. He married Cynthia L. Cohoe-Tebe on September 3, 1992 in New Mexico.
Jeremy is survived by his mother, Rebecca Graham of Wewoka, Oklahoma, his wife; Cynthia L. Coho-Tebe of Seminole, Oklahoma, his sons; Cota Tebe of Seminole, Oklahoma and Cordell Tebe of Konawa, Oklahoma, his daughters; Tess Tebe of Seminole, Oklahoma and Ayani Tebe of Seminole, Oklahoma and Chuska Raine Hulbutta and her husband Isaiah Hulbutta of Holdenville, Oklahoma, brothers; Jerome Hill, Anthony Hill, Eugene Harjo, Norman Hill, Chuck Hulbutta and Hal Hulbutta, sister; Elizabeth Tilley, grandchildren; Sonsila Carmen Tebe, Tenet’ke Tebe, Riley Hulbutta and Paiden Hulbutta. He was preceded in death by his father; James Smith, his son; Marcus Tebe, grandmother; Nora Tebe, maternal grandfather; Pastor John Cordell Tebe, his sister; Trina Jo Harjo, brother Johnson Hulbutta and beloved uncles Ramsey (Pops), Johnny and Paul Hulbutta and Ronnie Harjo and grandson; Trason Tebe.
A wake service will be held for Jeremy at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Cedar Creek Eufaula Baptist Church in Konawa, Oklahoma.
The funeral service for Jeremy will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 21, 2020 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma.
The family requests masks be worn at the wake and the funeral service.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
