Jeremy Marks

Jeremy Ramon Marks, 36 year old Oklahoma City, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Friday, December 9, 2016 in Lexington, Oklahoma.  He was born February 24, 1981 in Oklahoma City to parents, Raymond E. Marks and Rita Mae (Hardy) Marks. Jeremy was a member of the Seminole/Creek Nation.  He attended the Okmulgee Creek Baptist Church. Jeremy is survived by his father, Raymond E. Marks of Oklahoma City, one son, Mario Marks of Oklahoma City, one daughter, Elana Samuels of Oklahoma City, two sisters, Tarena Craig of Oklahoma City, Dujuania Marks of Oklahoma City, two brothers, Keith Adamson of Oklahoma City, Josh Craig of Oklahoma City. Jeremy is also survived by a host of other family and friends. Jeremy was preceded in death by his mother, Rita Mae (Hardy) Marks and by one sister, Kristina Davis. A wake service will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma on Thursday, December 15, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2016 at Rock Springs Church in Sasakwa with Mike Jefferson and Jimpsey Harjo officiating the service.  Interment will follow at the Rock Springs Church Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be: Shane Dorsey, Ron Daniels, Keith Adamson, Josh Craig, Daniel Tanyan, and Chabon Marks. Honorary Bearers will be: Zachary Craig, Nick Craig, Ian Craig, Mario Marks, Joey Mars, and Victor Mars. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
