Jennie Ann (Ravan) Glover, age 77 and a forty-six year resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, celebrated her graduation to heaven on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Rose Manor Nursing Center in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the Assembly of God Church in Konawa under the direction for Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Rev. Steve Lowrance and Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate. Burial will follow at Konawa Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jarrod Glover, Stuart Peek, Mike Winters, Jake Jones, Steven Hinman, and Benjamin Peek. Serving as Honorary Pallbearer is Tyler Jones. Jennie was born in Clarita, Oklahoma on January 10, 1936 to Marion F. Ravan and Nova Etta (Slape) Ravan. She married Harold Glover on December 18, 1993 in Konawa. Jennie earned her Masters of Education from East Central University in Ada, and taught school for thirty-four years in the Konawa Public School system. Her goal in life was to help children succeed in becoming “lights of humanity.” Jennie lived a Christian life as an example to her children and grandchildren for their own life’s journey. Her legacy will live on through them. She was a long-time member of the Assembly of God Church in Konawa and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Harold Glover of the home; three daughters, Glenda Henning of Bowie, Texas, Carol and Stuart Peek of Oklahoma City, and Janet and Mike Winters of Wetumka, Oklahoma; one brother, Noel and Imogene Ravan of Grand Junction, Colorado; six step-children, Michael and Connie Hinman of Florida, David Hinman of Kansas, Steven and Debbie Hinman of Oklahoma City, Dewayne and Sharon Glover of Norman, Oklahoma, Dennis and Tammie Glover of Konawa, Oklahoma, and Sonya and Paul Pezant of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren and nieces and nephews; as well as a host of church family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Nova Ravan; first husband, Glenn Files in 1995, second husband, Jack Hinman in 1986; one son, Glenn Files, Jr. in 1976; two brothers, and one sister.
