Jeff Rutherford

William Jeffery “Jeff” Rutherford, age 34 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, died on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at Valley View Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20th, at the Pentecostal Holiness Church located at 126 N. Konawa St. in Konawa.  Rev. Mona Fulks will officiate.  Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa.  Pallbearers are Stanley Honsinger, Jesse Fent, Rickey Stokes, James Brazell, Victor Davis, and Travis Honsinger.  Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Eougan, David Westpaul, and Frankie Russell.  Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Jeff was born on November 25, 1974 in Ada, Oklahoma, to parents, Gerald Warren Rutherford and Charlotte Ann (Landrum) Rutherford.  He was a driller for Kal Drilling Company in Oklahoma City.  He loved his job, and he loved to golf.  But most of all, his children were his life. He is survived by one son, Tyler Vaughn Rutherford of the home; three daughters, Charlotte Renee Rutherford and Cheyenne Nicole Rutherford, both of the home and Emylee Smith of Edmond, Oklahoma; biological parents, Tressie and Keith Hickman of Sullivan, Missouri; grandmother, Tressie Brower of Konawa, Oklahoma; one sister, Angela Postoak of Konawa, Oklahoma; four half-brothers, Lawrence Everett Roberts of San Francisco, California, Mitchell Hall of Florida, Ronald Keith Hickman of Sullivan, Missouri, and Robert Honsinger of Konawa, Oklahoma; and one half-sister, Keissha Hickman of Sullivan, Missouri.
