Jeannette Pearl Postoak

Jeanette P. Postoak , 72 year-old Tulsa resident died on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. She was born June 2, 1938 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to parents Susie M. (Powell) Miller and Charles Homer Miller. Jeanette graduated from Chilocco Indian Boarding School in Newkirk, OK in 1956. She married Alexander Postoak on December 6th 1959 in Compton, California . Jeanette worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant for several years as well as a full time homemaker. She was an active member of various Indian churches and taught Sunday School, mentored young people and attended Falls Creek Summer Camps, annually. She is survived by four sons, Karlin Postoak, Daniel Postoak, Tracy Postoak and Christopher Postoak all of Tulsa, Oklahoma, three daughters, Sharon Baker and Lucinda M. Postoak both of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Brenda J. Anderson of Ft. Worth, Texas. She is also survived by her siblings, Roxie S. Haynes of Prague, Oklahoma, Reo S. Miller of Seminole, Oklahoma, Joann D. Factor  of Prague, Oklahoma, Virginia Esther Miller Fourkiller of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Dwayne J. Miller of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, Arlis E. Banagas of Norwalk, California, Pinky Cole of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Cindy L. Miller of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Angeline Fawcett of Prague, Oklahoma. She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren as well as a host of numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-law as well as other family and dear friends.   Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Wednesday at the Free Will Baptist Church in Prague, Oklahoma at 14th and Pastusek. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery. Wake services will be Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole from 6-8:00 P.M. Pallbearers; James W. Haynes, Robert A.
