Jeanne Terry

Jeanne Linda Terry, 71, longtime Seminole resident, died Thursday, April 12, 2018 in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was born April 7, 1947 in Seminole, Oklahoma to James Louis Whitt and Thelma (Russell) Whitt. She was a secretary at the State Auditor’s Office in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma until her health failed her. She had attended Draughon’s Business School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and loved painting, playing musical instruments and played piano at the First United Methodist Church in Seminole, where she attended. Jeanne is survived by, her son, Ryan Terry, her mother, Thelma Whitt of Seminole, Oklahoma, her brother Tommy Whitt of Seminole, Oklahoma, four grandchildren Christian Terry and his wife Kelsie,, Jayden Botts, Trevor Terry and Brooklyn Terry. Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, Jim Whitt. Funeral services are planned for Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Seminole, Oklahoma, with Pastor Mark Watson officiating. Burial will take place at the Stroud City Cemetery, in Stroud, Oklahoma. Casket bearers will be Ricky Russell, Eric Whitt, Trevor Terry, Isaiah Thompson, John Thompson and Shane Richardson. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
