Jean Bickford

Jean Noreen (Fitzgerald) Bickford Seminole resident Jean Bickford passed away on August 29, 2010 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 67. She was born on December 26, 1942 in Milford, Massachusetts to Adrian Fitzgerald and Helen Jean (Chilson) Fitzgerald. Jean was raised in Massachusetts and has lived in Seminole for the past 5 years. She graduated in 1960 from Franklin High School in Franklin, Massachusetts. She also lived in California for several years. She retired in 2004 from Shell Oil Company where she worked as a cashier for 20 years, prior to that she worked for the State of Massachusetts for 20 years with the mentally handicap. She loved playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren that she helped raise. She was a dedicated mom and grandmother who was always there for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Brian Bickford of Hollywood, Florida and daughter, Vicky Vogelsberg of Seminole, Oklahoma and six grandchildren; Vida, Leah, Joshua, Seth and Annalise all from Seminole and Kimberly from California. A memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 P.M., Thursday, September 2, 2010 at the Heartland Family Church with Pastor Tom Newell officiating.
