Kenneth ?J.B.? Riddle, 79 year-old Seminole resident passed from this life Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at his home surrounded by loving family and friends, after a short battle with cancer. He was born February 9, 1929 in Maysville, Oklahoma to parents Eli Riddle and Nancy Vyrtle (Eldred) Riddle.rnrnJ.B. married Peggy Joyce Bratcher on May 10, 1955 in Mountainair, New Mexico.rnrnMr. Riddle had worked as a lineman / foreman for Mullinix Construction Company out of Oklahoma City for 30 years. He also had worked as a sales representative for Augur Sales out of Iowa Park, Texas for 18 years. Prior to that he had worked as a sales representative for Harleman Manufacturing out of El Dorado Springs, Missouri for a few years.rnrnThe Riddles moved to Seminole in November of 1966 living here for the past 42 years. He was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church.rnrnJ.B. is survived by his loving family which includes his wife of 53 years Peggy Riddle of the home; two daughters Robin Riddle of Seminole, Oklahoma and Vickie Verie (Riddle) McCracken and her husband Jim of Mill Creek, Oklahoma; one sister, Hattie M. Riddle of Sulphur, Oklahoma; two sisters-in-law, Zella (Riddle) Harden and her husband Sable of Sulphur, Oklahoma and Norma Dye and her husband Robert of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one brother-in-law, Jack Bratcher and his wife Nona Faye of Mountainair, New Mexico; many nieces nephews and other family and dear friends also survive.rnrnJ.B. is preceded in death by his parents, six sisters and seven brothers.rnrnFuneral Services are scheduled for ?High Noon?, Friday, November 7th, 2008 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole. His sister-in-law, Zella (Riddle) Harden will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnCasket Bearers will be: Phillip Cartwright, Harold Cartwright, David Riddle, Joe Dan Riddle, Stephen McCracken and Homer L. Rinehart.rnrnThe family has designated the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Cancer research as appropriate for memorial donations in J.B.?s memory. The address is 825 N.E. 13th Street ?
