Jarrett Edward Fidler, lifelong Konawa area resident, died Thursday, November 16, 2006, at Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation Hospital in Oklahoma City, at the age of 70. Jarrett was born on November 30, 1935 in Konawa to Charles E. and Emma Dale (Bolton) Fidler. He married Bonnie (Walton) on January 19, 1965 in Sasakwa, OK. He worked in the greater area oilfields mostly as a tool pusher. He was a member of Konawa Assembly of God Church.rnHe is survived by his wife, Bonnie Fidler of the home; one daughter, Twyla Cobbs of Yukon, OK; three sons and daughters-in-law, Tracy and Michelle Fidler of Asher, Tony and Debie Fidler of Ponca City, OK and Terry and Carla Fidler of Lexington, OK; one sister, Sharon D. Hogue of Konawa; eight grandchildren, Christopher Cobbs, Zach, Tanner & Kassidi Fidler, Sydnie & Mackenzie Fidler and Shelby & Taylor Fidler; two nieces, Tammy Newby of Ada and Leanne Littelle of Ada and a host of other family & friends.rnHe was preceded in death by his parents.rnFuneral services will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Konawa Assembly of God Church with Rev. Steve Lowrance officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas Damron, Darrell Mackey, Stanley Johnson, Jim Kelley, Randy Walker and Chris Johnson. Honorary bearers will be Herbert Walker and Lloyd Mosley. Burial will follow in Konawa Cemetery.rnrnArrangements are being handled by Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, 217 N. Broadway, Konawa, Okla.
