Janice Lea Cooper, 64, former Seminole resident died, Saturday, January 24, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Janice was born May 23, 1950, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Betty Jean (Longacre) and Hubert Clifford Aldridge. Janice was an electrical mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base and retired in 2010. She had recently moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma three years ago to be near her daughter. She loved gardening and her dog “Molly”. Janice attended the Church of Christ at Little, and was a graduate of Strother High School in 1968. She is survived by her Mother, Betty Aldridge  of Seminole, Oklahoma, her daughter, Mynista Cooper of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, one brother, Rusty Aldridge of Seminole, Oklahoma and a sister, Sandy Bass of Seminole, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her father, her husband, James Cooper in 2002, and a son, Lance Cooper in 1987. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Buddy Aldridge officiating.
