Mrs. Jane Webb, 78 year-old, longtime Seminole resident passed from this life Sunday, September 6, 2009 at Unity North Health Center in Shawnee.  She was born December 17, 1930 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to parents Robert Charles Kairschner and Virginia Gertrude (Patterson) Kairschner. “Mrs. Jane,” as she was lovingly called worked as a Teacher’s aid in the New Lima School District and then as a Librarian at the Varnum School District.  She was also a longtime member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Seminole. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Wildeanna Webb of Ada, Oklahoma; one daughter, Ann Webb and David Whitmire of Tulsa, Oklahoma, one brother, Patrick Kairschner of San Jose, California, one sister, Shirley Kairshner of San Jose, Californa; three grandchildren, Lakara Sliger, Nicole Sliger, Reba Sliger all of Ada, Oklahoma; four great-grandchildren, Brodrick Ransom, Dontae Rogers, Zaid Rogers and Carver Rogers all of Ada, Oklahoma; she is also survived by a host of other family and dear friends. “Mrs. Jane” is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edd Napoleon “Nap” Webb who died December 16, 1986; one son, Robert Eddie Webb who died at birth on January 5, 1950; and by one daughter, Barbara Webb who died in 1997. Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, Oklahoma.  Rev. Ron Duvall will officiate the service. Honorary Casket Bearers will be: Ken Jackson, Dewey Lee, Jirl McGinnis, Jim Parsons, Bill Parsons and Terry Nix. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma. The casket will be open at the funeral home prior to graveside services and will not be open at the graveside.
