Gwen Jane Boydstun, 60 year old Ada resident passed from this life Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Carl Albert Hospital in Ada. She was born September 12, 1946 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to parents Robert Harjo and Francis (Burgess) Tanyan.rnrnJane had attended Ardmore and Vamoosa Schools graduating in 1964. She continued her education getting her Certified Nursing Attendant's Certification.rnrnJane had lived in and around Seminole County most of her life and married Bobby Boydstun, Sr. in 1964. He preceded her in death in 1990.rnrnSurvivors include one son, Bobby Boydstun, Jr. of Ada, Oklahoma.rnrnOne daughter and son-in-law, Wendie and Mike Wood of Newalla, Oklahoma.rnrnOne brother and sister-in-law, Lee Wayne Wood and his wife Lori of Denton, Texas.rnrnOne sister, Nancy Jo Hernden of Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnJane was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Boydstun, Sr. in 1990 and by one sister, Jennifer Kay Tue in 1992. She is also preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, Nancy (Alexander) Burgess and Walter Caesar Burgess.rnrnFuneral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 24, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Stonewall, Oklahoma with Brother Gary Jamar officiating.rnrnInterment will follow at Stonewall Cemetery in Stonewall, Oklahoma.rnrnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home - Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnA Wake Service will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma.
