James Edward Woodberry, 61, longtime Seminole resident, died Thursday, September 7, 2017 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. James was born on December 1, 1956 to Elmer Berry and Bobbie J. (Woodberry) Berry in Wichita, Kansas. James had worked in Maintenance and a Cab company in Texas, during his lifetime. He was a member of Love Chapel Church of God in Christ, in Wewoka, Oklahoma. James is survived by his two sons, Jartinez Boston of Huntsville, Alabama and Chad Boston of Wichita, Kansas, one daughter La Tara Allen of Huntsville, Alabama, two brothers Elmer Joe Berry of Kansas City, Kansas and Eddie Jo Berry of Shawnee, Oklahoma, six sisters, E. Jean Lee, E. Joyce Berry and E. Janet Berry all of Seminole, Oklahoma, E. Janet Berry and E. June Berry both of Nashville, Tennessee, E. Janie Ayers of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and one grandchild. Graveside services for James will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at the Little Cemetery, north of Seminole, Oklahoma. His sisters will be casket bearers. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
