James (Smiley) A. Ross life long Seminole county resident passed away, Saturday, Novevmer 1, 2008 at the age of 66.rnrnSmiley was born in Wetumka, Oklahoma on August 23, 1942 to parents James A. and Mildred Inez (Hulstine) Ross. rnrnSmiley was a heavy machine operator and worked for many oil field services in this area some of which included Tony Peters Dozer Service and Joe Tolberts United Truck Service.rnrnSmiley served in the National Guard and was a member of the Harvey Road Baptist Church of Seminole.rnrnSmiley married Debra Ann Hale, January 10, 2006 at Eureka Springs, Arkansas.rnrnHe is survived by wife Debra, mother Inez Daniels, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pat and J.R. Hale. Smiley also survived by son Jimmy Aldridge of Konawa, daughters Shonda (Ross) McGuire of Seminole and Tamara Ross of Harrah, Oklahoma. Step children Joshua Hamilton of Tahlequah, Ok and Amanda Lytle of Seminole also survive him. Sister Nancy Grubbs of Pascagoula, Mississippi.rnrnSmiley was preceded in death by his father James and step-father Jep Daniel.rnrnFuneral services will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
