James Edward Rose, 79, Seminole resident, died Friday, August 28, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. James was born May 20, 1936 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Arthur Richard Rose and Violet Marie (Lewis) Rose. James was an auto mechanic and lived in the Seminole area most of his life. He is survived by three daughters Latricia Young of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Juanita Orr and Jamie Rose both of Seminole, Oklahoma, two brothers Kenneth Rose of Farmington, New Mexico and Richard Rose of Okemah, Oklahoma, two sisters Norma Gaines of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Pat Green of Albuquerque, New Mexico, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren and a special family friend Verlene Blackwell of Wewoka, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son James Edward Rose, Jr., a daughter Julie Rose, two sisters Sandra Kay Blevins and Joy Evans and a grandchild Monty Rose. Memorial graveside services will be held, 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the Holdenville Cemetery, with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
