James Braddock Marshall

James Braddock Marshall, Seminole, OK resident, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at his home at the age of 89. James was born on October 30, 1935 in Seminole to Jack Marshall and Dola (Miles) Marshall. He was a life-long Seminole resident and a graduate of Seminole High School.

James enjoyed watching sports, especially OU and Dallas Cowboys, Drag Racing. He loved spending time with his family working on funny cars. He would help anyone that was in need. James will be greatly missed. He was proud of his work as a Professional Land Surveyor. He was a member of the Seminole Hall of Fame for basketball and a was a member of Heritage House.  

James is survived by his sister, Debbie Mitchell; four grandchildren, James Bradley Marshall, Jerod Marshall, Teri Michelle Marshall and Sarah Marshall; a host of great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

James was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Marshall; first wife, Patsy Myers; brother, Harold Marshall; sons, Jerry Marshall and Terry Marshall; sister, Janice Hughes and grandson, Casey Wildcat. 

Those serving as casket bearers will be Jerod Marshall, James Bradley Marshall, Michael Wade and Billy Hanes. 

Viewing will be on Monday, December 16, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
