James Monroe King, 70 year old longtime Paris, Texas resident passed from this life on Thursday, January 18, 2007 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born December 3, 1936 in Telephone, Texas to parents Samuel L. King and Pearly (Dixon) King.rnrnMr. King had served in the United States Army where he had received a good conduct medal.rnrnKing was a class A repairman for Babcock & Wilcox boilermaker company in Paris, Texas where he retired in 1997. He moved to Seminole, Oklahoma five years ago from Paris, Texas to be near family. He was active in the Seminole Heritage House. He was also a member of the Boilermakers Union and the Masonic Lodge.rnrnMr. King leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Kevin King and his companion Shelly of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Brian King and his wife Davonna of Allen, Texas and Harlan King and his companion Kimberly of Malakoff, Texas.rnrnOne daughter, Denise King of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.rnrnOne brother, Bobby King of Denison, Texas.rnrnOne sister, Anna P. King of Shawnee, Oklahoma.rnrnTen grandchildren, Colten King, Brendan King, Austin Melton, Jeremy King, Justin King, Chad King, Krystal King, Evin King, Clayton Colbert and Kelsie Colbert.rnrnTwo great grandchildren, "J.T." Jody and Cameron.rnrnMr. King is also survived by his former wife and the mother of his children, Mafford Nowell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.rnrnFuneral services with military honors are scheduled for 4:00 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2007 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev.
