James Huff

James Huff, 63, longtime Saint Louis, Oklahoma resident, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  James was born on September 10, 1956 in Pryor, Oklahoma to John Tracy and Francis (Bailey)  Huff. James worked in the oilfield driving a tank truck and building fences for Bill Laird Oil Services.  He loved working his cattle, playing pool and playing cards.  James married Darla (Denise) Huff on January 2, 1975 in Konawa, Oklahoma. They were married for forty-four years. James is survived by his wife of the home, Darla Huff of Saint Louis, Oklahoma, one son and daughter-in-law, John Michael and Candace Huff of Saint Louis, Oklahoma, two daughters and son-in-law, Jenny Brooks of Saint Louis, Oklahoma, and Jamie and Brandon Herron of Saint Louis, Oklahoma. James had three brothers, Johnny Ray Huff of Texas, Gene Huff of Stonewall, Oklahoma, and Jimmy Huff of Florida and one sister, Loretta of Ada, Oklahoma.  He also had eight grandchildren, Mikaila Shae Brooks, Christopher Lane Brooks, Dakota Lee Brooks, Bowdee James Brooks, Micah Spencer Brooks, Jayson Taylor Herron, Brayson Gage Herron and Mayson Andrew-Michael Herron. James was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and John Huff. James will be in viewing and visitation on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Swearingen Funeral Home in Maud, Oklahoma, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be a Memorial Service for James on Friday, September 27, 2019,  at 2:00 p.m. at the Saint Louis Baptist Church in  Saint Louis, Oklahoma. Funeral services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
