James Booth, Jr., 83, Seminole resident died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Mr. Booth was born on February 1, 1930 in Pampa, Texas to James Booth and Beulah (Hanks) Booth. Mr. Booth moved to Seminole from Eufaula, Oklahoma eight years ago. He had lived in Tulsa for many years where he was a machinist for McElroy Manufacturing before retiring. Mr. Booth was a gun enthusiast. Survivors include his wife of almost 22 years, Joyce L. Booth of Seminole, Oklahoma; two sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas J. Booth and his wife Kelly of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Steven George Craton and his wife Micki of Seminole, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Tyler Craton and Mikayla Craton both of Seminole, Oklahoma; and a host of other family and dear friends. Private family services will be held at a later date at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
