James Allen Robertson

James Allen Robertson, longtime Seminole and Konawa resident, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in Muskogee, Oklahoma; he was 91 years old.  James was born in Konawa, Oklahoma July 12, 1926 to parents William Houston Robertson and wife Ora Velma (Barrett) Robertson.   James leaves to cherish his memory two brothers, Roland Robertson of Seminole, Oklahoma and Earl Robertson of Shawnee, Oklahoma, one sister, Lucille Barber Bangs of Texas, three grandchildren, Ricky R. Robertson and wife Christy or Lafayette, Indiana, Shane Robertson and wife Kerry of Seminole, Oklahoma and Travis Robertson and wife Londa of Shawnee, Oklahoma, seven great grandsons, two great granddaughters, two great-great granddaughters and one great-great grandson, daughter-in-law Nelda Robertson of Seminole, Oklahoma and the mother of his children, Julia Ellen Romines Ellis, as well as other family and friends.   James is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ora Robertson, son, Rick Robertson, daughter, Carol Robertson, his siblings, Bobby Robertson, Orvile Robertson, Oland Robertson, Ogella Bray, Flora Keithley, and Retha Edmonds.   A graveside service will be held at Little Cemetery north of Seminole on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.  Reverend Carl Whitfield will officiate the service.  Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.   Messages of condolence can be sent through www.swearingenfuneralhome.com Funeral Information: October 9, 2017, 2:00 PM Graveside Services at Little Cemetery, North of Seminole located at Seminole, Seminole, OK 74868
