Jady Owen "J.O." Gorden

Jady Owen "J.O." Gorden, 74 year old Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He was born January 9, 1944 in Clayton, Oklahoma to parents Emery Owen Gorden and Nancy (Davis) Gorden.  J.O. graduated from Clayton High School in Clayton, Oklahoma.  He worked as an electrician and retired after working over 30 years for General Motors.  He also worked all of his life as a farmer and rancher. On December 28, 1992 J.O. married, Audra McDowell in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. J.O. enjoyed roping, farming, ranching and visiting with his buddies E.J. Williams and Walter Shepherd. Survivors include his wife Audra (McDowell) Gorden of the home; 2 sons, Donnie Gorden of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Johnny Gorden of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 1 daughter, Terri Renae Stone and her husband Josh of Prague, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren, Cody, Hailey and Jady Gorden, Hayden, Lane and Landon Stone. J.O. was preceded in death by his parents and by one son Chad Gorden. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 12, 2018 at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker, Oklahoma with Pastor Tim Emmons officiating the service.
