Jacqueline Sue "Jacque" (Collings) Smith, 55 year old life long Seminole resident passed from this life early Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born October 9, 1951 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents Douglas Clifton Collings, Sr. and Grace "Kathryn" (Barnett) Collings.rnrn"Jacque" graduated from Seminole High School in 1969 and then worked for over 17 years in the oilfield as a pumper for Gulf and Chevron oil companies retireing in 1994. "Jacque" had worked as the custodian at the Seminole Church of Christ until her illness.rnrn"Jacque" leaves to cherish her memory her only child, Dillon Smith of the home.rnrnShe is also survived by her mother, Kathryn Collings of Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnThree sisters and a brother-in-law; Judy & Larry Pulliam of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Joyce Crabb of Seminole, Oklahoma and Phyllis Collings of Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnTwo brothers and sisters-in-law; Douglas Clifton Collings, Jr. and his wife Elaine of Montgomery, Texas and Kenny and his wife Martha Collings of Ardmore, Oklahoma.rnrn"Jacque" is preceded in death by her father, Douglas Clifton Collings, Sr. who died in 1994 and her former husband and Dillon's father, Melvin Wayne Smith who died July 7, 2006.rnrnThe family has set up a memorial fund at First United Bank in Seminole as appropriate for memorial donations for Dillon's education.
