Jacqueline Lee Barnett, age 63 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at her home in Norman, Oklahoma. Jacqueline will be taken to High Springs Baptist Church at 4:00 p.m. Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017 from Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma for a Wake Service scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 17th at the church, and Rev. Larry Factor will officiate. Casket bearers are Kevin Barnett, Barry Barnett, Gifford Barnett, Logan Allen, Gabe Gouge, Samuel Rains, Pedro Chacon, and Jerrin Rains. Honorary casket bearers are Pedro Chacon, II, Toby Gouge, Marcus Gouge, and Casey Barnett. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. Visitation will be at Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa Friday 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Jacqueline was born April 19, 1954 in Oklahoma City to Sam Barnett and Irene (Maggie) Columbus. She was a secretary for Foshee and Yaffe Law Firm in Oklahoma City, and a member of High Springs Baptist Church. Jacqueline loved bowling, traveling, dancing, sewing, and cooking, and she was a big OU fan. She is survived by three sons, Casey Barnett of Norman, Marcus Gouge of Oklahoma City, and Toby Gouge, also of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Lavetta Rains of Oklahoma City, Cindy Gouge of Shawnee, and LaToya Cloud of Norman; seven brothers, Larry Barnett of Oklahoma City, Ray Barnett of Glenpool, Clifford Barnett of Seminole, Alex Barnett of Oklahoma City, Eddie Barnett of Konawa, William Melton of Norman, and Ricky Columbus of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Johnnie Allen of Pawhuska, Teresa Holman of Ada, and Kay Roanhorse of Arizona; seventeen grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Barnett and Irene Columbus; grandmother, Alice West Moore; Granddaughter, Jean Anne Elizabeth Gouge.
