Jackie Moon

Jackie Harvey Moon, long-time Wanette area resident, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at his residence at the age of 67 years.rnrnHe was born on December 12, 1938 in Noble, OK to Rex and Mable (Jennings) Moon. He married Janice (VanKeuren) on January 11, 1958 in St. George, Utah. He was a construction superintendent for many years and of the Baptist faith.rnrnHe is survived by his wife Janice (VanKeuren) Moon of Wanette; two daughters, Tina Lamascus of Norman and Gena Reese and son-in-law Neal of Washington, OK; one son, Scott Moon of Wanette; two sisters, Helen Sowder and Shirley Reubidoux both of California; five grandchildren, Tonya Lamascus-Kutz, Dawnnie Beason, Shyla Beason, Joshua Reese and Daniel Moon and a host of other family and friends.rnrnHe was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kenneth Moon.rnrnGraveside services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Wanette Cemetery.
